The long-time pickup (Ir) adjusts from 250 to 630 A in nine steps — so you set the actual load current here, not the breaker frame. The short-time pickup (Isd) ranges from 1.5 to 10 × Ir, and the instantaneous pickup (Ii) from 1.5 to 11 × In. That wide adjustment range lets you coordinate selectively downstream: set Isd high enough that a branch fault clears before this unit sees it.
Deployment context
The trip unit mounts into a ComPacT NSX400...630 fixed or drawout breaker. The LCD display shows real-time ammeter readings, protection settings, and event logs. The unit supports zone selective interlocking (ZSI) for faster fault clearing in a coordinated distribution system.
