What this trip unit does
The C6334V570 is a MicroLogic 4.3 electronic trip unit from the ComPacT NSX400...630 range, rated 570 A at 40 °C. It provides LSoIR protection — long-time overload (L), short-time short-circuit with fixed delay (So), instantaneous short-circuit (I), and integrated earth-leakage (R) Class A. The 20-minute thermal memory before and after tripping means the unit remembers prior heating, so a hot breaker doesn't nuisance-trip on a second overload that a cold one would ride through.
The long-time pickup (Ir) is adjustable from 250 to 570 A across 9 settings — you dial in the actual load current, not the trip unit's maximum. Short-time pickup (Isd) adjusts from 1.5 to 10 times Ir, giving you coordination flexibility downstream. Instantaneous pickup is fixed at 6900 A, meaning it clears hard faults above that threshold without delay. Earth-leakage sensitivity (IΔn) and time delay (Δt from 0 ms up to 1 s) are both adjustable, so you can set coordination with downstream RCDs or ignore leakage entirely via the rotary switch.
