Overview
The C63S3TM500D is a Schneider ComPacT NSX DC molded case circuit breaker rated for 500 A continuous with a TM-DC thermal-magnetic trip unit providing LI protection (overload and short-circuit). It breaks 100 kA at 750 V DC, making it a high-interrupting-capacity choice for DC distribution panels. Three-pole fixed-mount construction with front connection surfaces, toggle control, and IP40 enclosure protection. Suitability for isolation is confirmed per EN/IEC 60947-2.
How it compares
The C63S3TM500D shares the same 500 A trip rating and 100 kA breaking capacity as the C63S4TM500D, but uses three poles instead of four. The C63S4TM500D adds a left-side neutral pole; choose it when the BOM requires a 4-pole DC breaker or a dedicated neutral path. For a 3-pole DC circuit without neutral switching, the C63S3TM500D is the correct fit.
