Ratings that matter for coordination
The DF223C: The 120 kA short-circuit withstand at 400 V per IEC 60947-3 is the number to take into selectivity studies — it clears high fault currents when paired with gG fuse links up to 125 A or aM types. Rated impulse withstand is 8 kV, and the operational voltage covers both AC and DC circuits up to 690 V. Ambient derating starts above 20 °C; full 125 A is available up to that point.
Snaps onto 35 mm symmetrical DIN rail, vertical ±23° orientation allowed. Screw-clamp terminals accept 2.5 to 35 mm² solid or flexible (ferruled) conductors; tighten to 4 Nm. The IP20 finger-safe enclosure means it's serviceable without additional shrouding as long as the panel door is closed.
Compliance documentation
Meets EN/IEC 60947-3 for switch-disconnectors, EN/IEC 60269-2 for fuse bases, and UL 4248-1 / CSA C22.2 No 4248-1. Glow-wire tested to 960 °C per IEC 60695-2-1. RoHS and REACH declarations are available with the shipment.
