MCCB for distribution — 250 A thermal-magnetic with earth-leakage
The Schneider Electric EZCV250H3250 is a 3-pole EasyPact EZCV250H moulded-case circuit breaker rated 250 A at 40 °C, built for distribution duty in fixed-mount backplate panels. The TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit handles overload and short-circuit protection, and the integrated earth-leakage protection covers ground faults without a separate module — one less component to wire into the enclosure.
Breaking capacity hits 100 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC, 36 kA at 380–415 V, and 25 kA at 440 V — all per IEC 60947-2. That 100 kA figure at common 240 V distribution voltage gives real selectivity headroom downstream; you can coordinate this with smaller branch breakers without worrying about cascading faults through the main. The H breaking-capacity code tells you it's the high-interrupt version in the EZCV250 family.
Fixed-mount on a backplate, front-connected both line and load sides. Connection pitch is 35 mm, standard for busbar or cable lug termination. IP20 finger-safe on the front; IK07 impact rating means it handles a tool drop during panel assembly.
