The Schneider Electric EZCV250N44100 is a 4-pole EasyPact EZCV250N moulded-case circuit breaker rated 100 A at 40 °C, with a thermal-magnetic TM-D trip unit that handles overload and short-circuit protection plus built-in earth-leakage protection.
Breaking capacity — what the Icu ratings mean for coordination
The breaking capacity code N gives you 20 kA Icu at 440 V AC, 25 kA at 380–415 V, and 85 kA at 220–240 V, all per IEC 60947-2. For a 100 A feeder in a 440 V distribution panel, 20 kA symmetrical is enough for most secondary switchgear — but if your transformer secondary or generator bus can deliver more fault current, you'll need to coordinate upstream or step to a higher Icu frame. The 85 kA at 240 V is a bonus for 240 V sub-distribution.
Fixed backplate mounting, 140 mm wide × 165 mm tall × 68 mm deep. Connection pitch is 35 mm. Both line and load connections are front-face, which simplifies busbar routing in a panel but means you need clearance in front for access.
