It is rated for distribution duty (Category A) and carries a 10 kA breaking capacity at 415 V AC, 50/60 Hz, per EN/IEC 60947-2.
Mounting and integration notes
Mounts fixed to a backplate — not DIN-rail snap-on — so plan for screw-terminal connection with a 25 mm pole pitch. Accepts horizontal or vertical orientation, flat on the back. Front terminals on both line and load sides simplify busbar or cable routing in a standard distribution panel.
Durability and thermal budget
Mechanical durability is rated at 30,000 cycles; electrical durability at 8,000 cycles at rated current and 415 V. That is typical for a distribution MCCB — not intended for frequent switching like a contactor, but reliable for occasional isolation and fault protection over the panel's service life. Power dissipation per pole is 18.7 W at rated current, so total 3-pole dissipation is about 56 W — account for that in enclosure thermal calculations. Altitude derating applies above 2000 m — no derating needed below that.
