The Schneider Electric G12T4A25 is a GoPact MCCB 125 molded case circuit breaker, 4-pole, rated 25 A at 40 °C with a TM-D thermal-magnetic trip unit. It provides overload (thermal) and short-circuit (magnetic) protection for distribution applications. The breaker is fixed-mounted via backplate, with front-facing screw terminals for both line and load connections. It accepts horizontal or vertical mounting on a flat surface, so panel layout is flexible. Pollution degree 3 (IEC 60664-1) means it handles conductive dust and occasional condensation typical in industrial enclosures.
Protection and endurance
Neutral protection is set to 1 x Ir (4D), meaning the neutral pole trips at the same current as the phase poles. The breaker is Category A (no intentional short-time delay), so it trips instantaneously on magnetic pickup — appropriate for feeder duty where selectivity is achieved upstream. Mechanical durability is rated at 30,000 cycles; electrical durability at 8,000 cycles at 415 V at rated current. IP20 finger protection (IEC 60529) means the terminals are touch-safe but the device is not sealed against moisture — install inside a rated enclosure.
Overvoltage category III suits fixed-installation distribution panels. The grey (RAL 7035) housing is the standard industrial enclosure colour.
