What this handle does on the panel door
The GS1AH321 is the external rotary handle for Schneider's TeSys GS manual motor starter range, mounted on the left side of the GS1 base unit. The red handle colour signals the ON position — standard convention for disconnects visible through the door. Rated for the full 32 A current of the GS1 frame, it couples mechanically to the rotary switch shaft inside the enclosure. IP65 sealing means the handle assembly withstands hose-directed water and dust ingress from the panel face — suitable for food-processing lines, washdown zones, or outdoor kiosks where the door seal alone isn't enough.
Lockout provision and door integration
Padlocking provision lets the handle accept up to three padlocks in the OFF position, satisfying OSHA lockout/tagout requirements for branch-circuit isolation. The yellow front plate contrasts with the red handle for quick state recognition on a crowded panel door. Left-side mounting means the handle exits the door on the left of the GS1 body — verify door cutout orientation against the GS1 base unit before drilling.
