Breaking capacity is 1600 A at 400 V under AC-23B duty, with a making capacity of 2000 A at the same voltage. Short-circuit withstand is rated at 80 kA, and the rated short-circuit making capacity reaches 200 kA at 400 V when protected by BS fuses.
The 200 A rating at 400 V AC-23B means this disconnector handles motor loads with occasional overloads — typical for pump, fan, and conveyor circuits. At 690 V the current derates to 160 A under the same duty, so verify your system voltage against the rating table. Rated operational power reaches 100 kW at 400 V (AC-23A/B) and 150 kW at 690 V (AC-23A/B), giving clear headroom for common motor sizes in those voltage classes. The body accepts BS-type fuses in sizes B2 and B1, with power circuit connections via bars or screw terminals accepting 95 to 240 mm² flexible cable. Torque both control and power circuit terminals to 25 N·m.
Designed and tested to IEC 60947-3 (switch-disconnectors), IEC 60269-1 and IEC 60269-2 (fuse requirements). Fire resistance is 960 °C for the body and 850 °C for the fuse cover per IEC 60695-2-1. IP20 protection with terminal cover fitted, suitable for enclosed panel mounting on plate or rail.
