Overview
The GS2AH340 is a Schneider TeSys GS external rotary handle, order code GS2AH340, with a red handle mounted on the left side. It provides two positions (O-I), is rated IP65, and is designed for use with TeSys GS switch-disconnectors rated 100 to 400 A per IEC.
Function & operation
This external rotary handle mounts to the left side of the TeSys GS enclosure and operates the switch-disconnector through a mechanical linkage. The handle positions are O (off) and I (on), with padlocking possible only in the O position for lockout/tagout compliance. The red color provides clear visual indication of the switch state.
Applications
TeSys GS rotary handles are used on motor switch-disconnectors and fuse-switch combinations in industrial control panels, providing a safe, external means to isolate power. The IP65 rating allows installation in washdown or dusty environments typical of food, beverage, and material handling lines.
