Overview
The GS2AP64 is a Schneider Electric TeSys GS terminal shroud, order code GS2AP64, rated for 4 poles and 630 A switching current. It is a protection accessory designed for use with TeSys GS switch-disconnectors in the 630 to 800 A range.
Function & operation
This terminal shroud covers the live terminals of a 4-pole switch-disconnector, providing finger-safe protection during maintenance and operation. The 630 A rating matches the continuous current capacity of the switch it mounts on, ensuring no derating is introduced.
Applications
Terminal shrouds in the TeSys GS line are used on motor switch-disconnectors and fuse-switch disconnectors in industrial control panels, distribution boards, and machine tool enclosures. They are specified where IPxxB or IPxxC touch protection is required for operator safety.
