The GS2DB3 is a TeSys GS switch-disconnector-fuse — a 3-pole, 32 A device that isolates and protects a circuit under load, combining a switch-disconnector with BS-type fuse holders in size A1. It is rated to IEC 60947-3, the standard for switch-disconnectors, meaning it can make and break currents up to its rated values and provide visible isolation for safe maintenance. Rated 32 A in AC-23A and AC-23B duty at 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V — AC-23B covers occasional switching of motor loads, so this is the rating that governs real motor-circuit use. Power handling: 15 kW at 400 V, 18.5 kW at 500 V, 25 kW at 690 V — these are the motor sizes it can switch in a typical three-phase system.
Mounts on plate or rail — the DIN-rail option means it clips into a standard 35 mm rail inside a control panel. Dimensions: 121 mm wide, 118 mm high, 87 mm deep — fits a standard modular enclosure footprint. Power circuit terminals are screw-clamp, accepting 6 to 25 mm² cable, tightened to 3.2 N·m. IP20 with the terminal cover fitted — finger-safe but not washdown; suitable for enclosed panel installation where no water jets are present. Fire resistance of 960 °C per IEC 60695-2-1 means the body won't propagate a flame under fault conditions.
