The Schneider Electric TeSys GS2NB4 is a switch-disconnector-fuse, 4 poles, rated 250 A at 400 V AC-23B (motor switching duty) and 200 A at 440 V DC-23A with two poles in series per phase. Breaking capacity is 2000 A at 400 V AC-23B; making capacity is 2500 A at the same voltage. It accepts BS-type fuses in sizes B1, B2, or B3.
Plate-mounted, with external frontal or right-side operating handle. Power circuit terminals accept bars up to 32 mm² or ring lugs 95–240 mm²; tightening torque is 25 N·m. IP20 with the terminal cover fitted — suitable for enclosed panel installation where personnel access is restricted.
The 250 A rating at 400 V AC-23B is the motor-switching duty — that is the figure that governs real motor load switching, not the thermal free-air current (also 250 A at 40 °C). Short-circuit withstand is 32.5 kA, and the rated short-circuit making capacity with gG fuses is 80 kA at 400 V. Rated impulse withstand voltage is 8 kV, insulation voltage 750 V AC. Mechanical durability is 10 000 cycles; electrical durability is 1000 cycles for AC-23A/B and 200 cycles for DC-23A/B.
