The GV2DM120Q7 is a TeSys Deca DOL combination starter — a pre-assembled unit that pairs a contactor and a motor circuit breaker in one chassis, saving panel space and wiring time. The thermal protection adjustment range of 13...18 A sets the overload trip point, and the magnetic trip is fixed at 223 A for short-circuit protection.
Rated motor power depends on line voltage: 7.5 kW at 400/415 V, 9 kW at 440 V, and 9 kW at 500 V (all 50/60 Hz). That's the load it can switch continuously in AC-3 service. The breaking capacity is rated Iq 15 kA at 400/415 V, dropping to 8 kA at 440 V and 6 kA at 500 V — all per IEC 60947-4-1.
Panel fit — dimensions and composition
The unit measures 45 mm wide, 176.4 mm high, and 99.6 mm deep — a standard 45 mm module width that clips onto a DIN rail. The device composition includes a 3-pole contactor, a combination block (GV2AF3), and a motor circuit breaker (GV2ME). That's everything needed for a DOL start in one package: no separate overload relay to wire, no interconnecting conductors between breaker and contactor.
