The GV2DM232M7 is a TeSys Deca reversing motor starter combination — a single assembly integrating a 3-pole reversing contactor, a GV2AF3 combination block, and a GV2ME motor circuit breaker. The thermal protection adjustment range of 24...32 A sets the motor FLC it can protect; the magnetic trip is fixed at 416 A, providing instantaneous short-circuit protection. For a 24-32 A motor, that magnetic threshold sits above the starting inrush so nuisance trips are avoided. Rated in AC-3 duty (squirrel-cage motor switching), it delivers 15 kW at 400/415 V and 440 V, and 18.5 kW at 500 V. The breaking capacity meets IEC 60947-4-1: 10 kA at 400/415 V, 6 kA at 440 V, and 4 kA at 500 V. Coordination is Type 1, meaning after a fault the starter may need contact replacement but the breaker and contactor remain functional.
Schneider Electric lists the GV2DM232M7 as obsolete.
Mounts on a DIN rail. The 90 mm width occupies three standard 18 mm module spaces; overall depth is 105.9 mm and height 186.8 mm. The reversing contactor and breaker are pre-assembled, so the installer only needs to land the motor and control wiring — no on-site build of the reversing pair.
