The Schneider Electric TeSys GV2LC0206 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter with a built-in circuit breaker, rated for a thermal protection adjustment range of 1.6 A. It is a non-reversing, 3-pole unit using magnetic trip technology, with a magnetic tripping limit of 13 x In ±20%. The enclosure is polycarbonate with an IP54 rating per IEC 60529, making it suitable for environments where dust and water splash are present, such as light industrial or washdown areas. Breaking capacity is 100 kA Icu at 220–230 V, 400–415 V, 440 V, and 500 V per IEC 60947-2. Rated operational voltage is 690 V. Cable entry accommodates 2 x 25 mm² ISO at top and bottom, and 2 x 20 mm² ISO at top and bottom, giving flexibility for panel gland-plate layout. The rotary handle (black) can be locked in the OFF position with 1 to 3 padlocks (Ø 8 mm) for lockout/tagout procedures.

Dimensions are 166 mm height, 88 mm width, and 173 mm depth. The IP54 polycarbonate enclosure is self-contained — no additional panel cutout is needed; it mounts directly to a machine frame or wall via the enclosure's integral fixing points. Cable entry is via ISO metric knockouts, so plan your gland selection accordingly (2 x 25 mm² top/bottom, 2 x 20 mm² top/bottom). The rotary handle protrudes from the enclosure front; ensure clearance for the handle swing and for padlock application in the OFF position. The unit is a combined circuit breaker and starter in one package — no separate overload relay is needed, which simplifies wiring but means the thermal setting (1.6 A) is fixed by the unit's adjustment range. If your motor FLA is outside that range, this unit will not provide proper overload protection.
