Enclosed DOL starter for motor control panels
The TeSys GV2LC0208 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter rated for 4 A thermal protection, built into a polycarbonate enclosure with IP54 protection. It integrates a magnetic trip unit with a tripping limit of 13 x In, so it clears short-circuit faults without relying on an upstream fuse or breaker for motor branch circuits.
Panel fit and cable entry
The enclosure measures 173 mm deep by 88 mm wide by 166 mm high, sized for a standard 200 mm deep panel backplate. Cable entries are pre-cut: two 25 mm ISO knockouts at top and bottom, plus two 20 mm ISO knockouts at top and bottom — plan gland plates for these diameters before the install date. The black rotary handle protrudes from the front; padlock it in the OFF position using up to three 8 mm padlocks for lockout/tagout compliance.
It carries compliance with IEC 60947-4 (motor starters), VDE 0660-102, EN 60947, and IEC 60439-1 (low-voltage switchgear assemblies). The IP54 rating meets IEC 60529 for dust and splash protection — suitable for washdown areas or outdoor cabinets if kept out of direct hose spray.

This is a current-production TeSys GV2-LC variant. Source it against an RFQ for the project BOM; no last-time-buy or phase-out notice applies. The 4 A thermal adjustment range and 690 V rated operational voltage match the spec for small motor branch circuits up to 1.5 kW at 400 V.
