It combines a thermal-magnetic trip unit — thermal overload for sustained overcurrent, magnetic trip at 9.3 A for short-circuit — with a 3-pole switching mechanism, all in a 45 mm wide package that clips onto 35 mm DIN rail or screws to a panel.
The magnetic trip at 9.3 A (roughly 15× In) clears hard shorts fast, while the thermal element handles overloads. Rated for AC-3 and AC-3e utilisation categories per IEC 60947-4-1, it's built for starting and stopping squirrel-cage motors under load. Phase failure sensitivity (per IEC 60947-4-1) means it trips if one phase drops out, preventing single-phase motor burn-up. Electrical durability is 100,000 cycles at rated current in AC-3 duty — solid for a machine tool or conveyor application.
Mounts horizontally or vertically on 35 mm DIN rail (standard for IEC enclosures) or directly to a panel with two M4 screws. IP20 finger-safe terminals suit enclosed panels; the dark grey housing is the standard TeSys Deca colour. Power connections accept up to 6 mm² solid or 4 mm² flexible with ferrule, torqued to 1.7 N·m.
