The Schneider Electric TeSys GV2 GV2P07TQ is a 3-pole motor circuit breaker with a thermal-magnetic trip unit rated at 2.5 A. It's sized for a 0.75 kW motor at 400/415 V AC, 50/60 Hz, and steps up to 1.1 kW at 500 V or 1.5 kW at 690 V. The magnetic trip is fixed at 39 A, so it clears short-circuits fast without nuisance tripping on normal motor start inrush. Breaking capacity hits 100 kA Icu at 230–500 V AC per IEC 60947-2, dropping to 8 kA at 690 V.
The 45 mm wide footprint (3-module) fits standard enclosure cutouts. Orientation is flexible — horizontal or vertical — so you can lay out a dense motor control center without worrying about derating for position. Power connections are screw-clamp terminals accepting up to 2 x 6 mm² solid or 2 x 4 mm² flexible with ferrule. Tightening torque is 1.7 N·m. The IP20 finger-safe front and IK04 impact rating mean it's fine inside a locked panel but not for open-machine mounting.
Carries EN/IEC 60947-2 and -4-1, plus UL 60947-4-1 and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1 — so it's accepted in North American and European panels. Also meets IEC/EN 60335-2-40 Annex JJ for heat-pump applications and IEC/EN 60335-1 Clause 30.2 for glow-wire resistance. Fire resistance tested to 960 °C per IEC 60695-2-11.
