It uses a thermal-magnetic trip unit — the thermal element handles overloads, and the magnetic trip fixed at 74 A clears short circuits.

The 45 mm width and 89 mm height fit standard motor-starter footprints in a TeSys Deca lineup. IP20 finger-safe terminals keep live parts behind the enclosure — fine for a control cabinet but not for washdown environments. The rotary handle gives a clear on/off indication and can be padlocked in the off position for lockout-tagout.
