The Schneider Electric GV2P14AE11TQ is a TeSys GV2 motor circuit breaker rated at 10 A with a thermal-magnetic trip unit, designed for protecting 3-phase AC motor circuits up to 3 kW at 400/415 V.
Breaking capacity and fault handling
Breaking capacity hits 100 kA Icu at 230/240 V and 400/415 V AC, which means this breaker can safely interrupt a 100 kA fault current at those voltages without welding contacts or rupturing the case. That's high enough for most industrial panel bus faults—you won't need a current-limiting fuse upstream for typical installations.
IP20 finger-safe protection means it's fine inside an enclosed panel but not for exposed or wet locations. The rotary handle gives local on/off control with a clear visual position.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-2 (circuit-breaker standard) and EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (motor-starter standard), plus UL 60947-4-1 and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1. Also listed for IEC/EN 60335 appliance standards. That covers most global panel specs—UL for North America, IEC for Europe and Asia, CSA for Canada. The suitability-for-isolation mark (per IEC 60947-1) means you can use it as a disconnecting means under load.
Rated current 10 A, magnetic trip at 149 A. Motor power: 3 kW at 400/415 V, 5 kW at 500 V, 5.5 kW at 690 V. Breaking capacity 100 kA at 400 V. Electrical durability 100,000 cycles at AC-3 duty. Phase failure sensitive—it will trip on loss of one phase, protecting the motor from single-phasing.
