It combines a thermal-magnetic trip unit — the thermal element protects against overload, the magnetic element (tripping at 341 A) handles short-circuits — in a single 45 mm wide, 3-pole package that clips onto a 35 mm DIN rail or mounts with M4 screws. Rated for motors up to 7.5 kW at 400/415 V AC, 9 kW at 500 V, and 15 kW at 690 V. The breaking capacity reaches 100 kA Icu at 230/240 V and 50 kA at 400/415 V, per IEC 60947-2 — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream.
Screw-clamp terminals accept two 1–6 mm² solid or 1.5–6 mm² flexible cables per pole; torque to 1.7 N·m. Mounts horizontally or vertically. The dark grey rotary handle stays accessible through a cutout if panel-mounted. IP20 finger-safe protection covers the live terminals once wired.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-2 (circuit-breaker standard), EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (contactor/motor-starter standard), UL 60947-4-1, and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1. Also complies with IEC/EN 60335-2-40 Annex JJ and IEC/EN 60335-1 Clause 30.2 for glow-wire / fire resistance (960 °C per IEC 60695-2-11).
