Motor Protection with a Fault Capacity that Matches the Line
The GV2RT07 is a 3-pole thermal-magnetic motor circuit breaker from the TeSys Deca range, rated 2.5 A continuous. It's built for motor starter duty: AC-3 switching and full isolation per IEC 60947-1.
The thermal trip handles long-term overloads; the magnetic trip snaps at 51 A for short-circuit protection. That 51 A threshold is fixed – no adjustment – so make sure your motor's inrush won't nuisance-trip it. On a typical 0.37 kW, 230 V motor that's fine; for a higher-inrush pump motor you'd step to a bigger frame. The 100 kA Icu holds up to 440 V, then drops to 3 kA at 690 V. That matters if your plant runs a 690 V motor line – the breaker still protects, but the available fault current must be under 3 kA.
Mounting and Wire-Up
Accepts 1 to 6 mm² solid or stranded wire on the screw clamps – torque to 1.7 N·m. IP20 means it's protected from finger contact but not hose-down; mount inside a panel or enclosure.
