Schneider GV2RT10 is a TeSys Deca motor circuit breaker – a three-pole thermal-magnetic device rated at 6.3 A continuous line current. It's built to protect motor circuits per IEC 60947-4-1 and serve as a disconnect with isolation capability per IEC 60947-2. The magnetic trip is fixed at 138 A, so inrush holds for most standard induction motors up to 1.1 kW at 230 V or 2.2 kW at 400 V. Breaking capacity hits 100 kA at 230/400 V, dropping to 3 kA at 690 V – enough for most industrial panel feeds. That's the same 45 mm width as the rest of the TeSys Deca line, so it slides into a populated DIN rail without re-spacing.
Breaking Capacity and Durability
Rated for uninterrupted duty per IEC 60947-4-1 with utilisation category AC-3 and AC-3e (motor switching). Breaking capacity varies by voltage: 100 kA at 220/230 V, 100 kA at 400/415 V, 50 kA at 440 V and 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V – all under IEC 60947-2. Electrical durability is 100,000 cycles at rated current in AC-3; mechanical durability also 100,000 cycles. 2.5 W power dissipation per pole at full load – negligible for most cabinets but worth summing if you're packing a dense row of breakers.
