The Schneider GV4P80S is a 3-pole motor circuit breaker from the TeSys GV4 family, rated at 80 A continuous line current. It combines thermal-magnetic and electronic trip technology in a single unit, sized for motor branch-circuit protection in control panels up to 690 V AC.

For IEC installations, it clears 100 kA at 380–415 V and still holds 10 kA at 690 V. Those figures come from both IEC 60947-2 and UL 60947-4-1 standards, so it's dual-listed for North American and export panels. The trip unit offers thermal-magnetic overload protection plus electronic short-circuit sensing with a magnetic trip threshold of 1360 A. Phase failure sensitivity is built in per IEC 60947-4-1, so a lost phase will not go unnoticed long enough to cook a motor. At 80 A, you are looking at 37 kW on 400–415 V AC (or 45 kW at 500 V).
