The GV4PB80B is a TeSys GV4 motor circuit breaker — 80 A, three poles, electronic thermal-magnetic trip. It's the part you slot into a TeSys Deca panel for motor branch protection. Rated for continuous duty (IEC 60947-4-1), it sits alongside the rest of the GV4 family on the same frame.
Breaking capacity is where this breaker earns its keep. Under UL 489: 35 kA at 240 V AC, 18 kA at 480Y/277 V, 14 kA at 600Y/347 V. Under IEC 60947-2: Icu of 50 kA at 220/240 V, stepping down to 10 kA at 500 V. That covers most industrial motor panels without extra upstream fusing. The magnetic trip is fixed at 1360 A — not adjustable, so coordination with the upstream overcurrent device needs to be checked at the board level. Phase failure sensitivity per IEC 60947-4-1 is included; the breaker will drop the motor on a lost phase. Power dissipation per pole is 4.6 W — that's a data point for panel thermal calculations.
Mounting is any position; the housing is IP40 (fingers) and IK07 (impact). Pollution degree 3. Operating altitude goes to 5000 m — fine for most plant floors and elevated installations. The EverLink BTR screw terminals accept up to 95 mm² rigid on the bottom, 70 mm² flexible on the top. Tightening torque is 9 N·m for the main conductors, 5 N·m for the control wiring. Climatic withstand per IACS.
If you're filling a BOM line for a motor control center or a TeSys Deca panel, this order code fits the slot. Send an RFQ with your target quantity and delivery window; we'll quote against the open manufacturing line. No need to source through brokers — this one is still a catalog item.
