The Schneider GV4PE115N is a 3-pole motor circuit breaker from the TeSys Deca range, rated for continuous duty at 115 A line current. It provides motor protection via an electronic thermal-magnetic trip unit, with magnetic tripping set at 1955 A. Rated for AC-3 duty per IEC 60947-4-1, it's built for switching motor loads under running conditions. The 115 A frame covers motors up to 55 kW at 400 V or 110 kW at 690 V, depending on supply voltage.
Breaking capacity: 100 kA at 240 V AC (IEC) and 65 kA at 480Y/277 V (UL). That puts it in a strong selectivity class for most industrial panels — you can coordinate with upstream 100 kA rated MCCBs without extra current-limiting fuses. For motor protection, pair it with a motor FLA equal to or slightly below that — typical for 37–55 kW motors at 400 V. Tripping is electronic thermal-magnetic: the thermal curve handles overloads, the magnetic element acts at 1955 A (17x Iₙ) for short-circuit. Phase failure sensitivity is built in per IEC 60947-4-1. Suitable for isolation (toggle on/off with visible break) and rated pollution degree 3, so it can live in a standard industrial panel without special derating for heavy dust or conductive contamination.
Dimensions: 6.1 x 3.2 x 4.6 in (155 x 81 x 116 mm). Connectors are EverLink BTR screw terminals: accept up to 95 mm² solid on the load side, 70 mm² flexible. Torque range 5–9 Nm. IP40 with IK07 impact resistance. Operating in any position, up to 5000 m altitude without derating.
