The GV4PEM07N is a TeSys GV4 motor circuit breaker from Schneider Electric, part of the TeSys Deca range. It is a 3-pole device with a line rated current of 7 A, using an electronic thermal-magnetic trip unit. The 7 A rating sets the continuous current; it covers motor loads in the range of 1.5–3 kW depending on supply voltage (for 400–415 V: 1.5–3 kW). The electronic trip offers phase-failure sensitivity, important for three-phase motor protection.
Breaking capacity is 100 kA at 240 V AC (UL), 35 kA at 480Y/277 V. For IEC conditions, 100 kA Icu at 220–240 V and 50 kA at 380–415 V. These numbers define where the breaker can be used without a current-limiting upstream device; match the panel SCCR. Rated for continuous duty (IEC 60947-4-1), with electrical durability of 40,000 cycles at AC-3 (In/2). Mechanical life is also 40,000 cycles. The maximum operating rate is 25 cycles per hour – not a high-speed switching device, but fine for motor starts. Magnetic trip threshold is set at 119 A. Power dissipation per pole is 4.6 W.
