It's designed for motor protection and isolation (IEC 60947-1). The trip unit combines thermal-magnetic overload protection with electronic short-circuit detection, giving you adjustable curves and a magnetic tripping current of 1955 A. Breaking capacity is substantial: 120 kA Icu at 220–240 V AC (IEC 60947-2), 100 kA at 380–415 V, and 70 kA at 440 V. Under UL 60947 it carries 100 kA at 240 V and 65 kA at 480Y/277 V. That covers high-fault panels without an upstream fuse.
