The HMIBMUHI29D4801 is a Schneider Harmony iPC modular box PC, Universal type, built around 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 512 KB of MRAM on an Intel QM87 chipset. It runs on a 24 V DC supply and measures 254.0 mm wide by 205.74 mm high, supporting wall, book, or flat mounting.
This box PC serves as a headless or display-connected controller for machine-level HMI and SCADA applications. The 4 GB DDR3 RAM is non-expandable and sets the upper bound for runtime memory — adequate for moderate tag databases and local recipe handling, but not for large multi-machine visualization projects. The 512 KB MRAM provides battery-free retention of critical process variables across power cycles. Expansion is handled through 1 PCI slot, 2 mini PCI Express full-size slots, and 1 PCI Express 1x slot, plus 2 internal SATA HDD/SSD bays with a slide-in carrier (HMIYMADSDD1) for hot-swap RAID via Intel Rapid Storage Technology. The unit ships with a Windows 10 image and Node-RED system nodes for IIoT wiring, but the EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert runtime, machine SCADA Expert runtime, and McAfee whitelisting installer are not included — those are separate license purchases. A watchdog timer is configurable from 1 to 255 ms.
