Overview
The HMIDM9521 is a Schneider Harmony iPC industrial touchscreen display, 18.5" colour TFT LCD LED with a 16:9 aspect ratio, 300 cd/m² luminance and 500:1 contrast ratio. It runs on 24 V DC, draws 63.28 W, and carries a NEMA 4X rating for washdown environments.
The touch interface uses multi-touch projected capacitive technology (PCT), supporting gestures and gloved operation even with water on the screen. The 300 cd/m² backlight is rated for 50000 hours at 25 °C, and the 500:1 contrast ratio keeps readability in high-ambient-light panel positions.
Applications
This display is specified for machine-level HMI in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical processing lines where NEMA 4X washdown resistance is required. It also fits packaging and material-handling stations where a large 18.5" screen provides clear process overview and multi-touch interaction.
