Overview
The HMIGTO6315FW is a Schneider Electric Harmony GTO touchscreen HMI, order code HMIGTO6315FW, with a 12.1" SVGA color display at 800 x 600 pixels and a resistive film touch panel rated for 1,000,000 cycles. It runs on a 24 V DC external supply drawing 12 W, is housed in a stainless steel 304 enclosure rated IP20 with a NEMA 4X front panel, and is designed for flush mounting via 8 nuts or 4 L brackets. The unit meets EN 61131-2, UL 508, and IEC 61000-6-2 standards, and is rated for shock up to 147 m/s² in three axes per EN/IEC 61131-2.
The HMIGTO6315FW serves as the operator interface for machine and process control, running Vijeo Designer configuration software version 6.1 or later. Its 96 MB Flash EPROM memory stores the runtime application and tag database, while 512 KB internal SRAM backed by a lithium battery retains alarm logs and recipe data for up to 100 days without power. Communication is handled through a broad protocol set including Modbus, Modbus Plus, Uni-TE, FIPWAY, Modbus TCP, plus third-party protocols for Mitsubishi, Omron, Rockwell, and Siemens networks — all on-board without additional gateway hardware. Local signaling includes a multi-color status LED (green steady for online, orange flashing during startup, red for power on) and dedicated COM2 and SD card LEDs for data transmission and card presence.
Applications
Harmony GTO touchscreen HMIs of this class are deployed in packaging lines, material handling systems, food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical equipment, and water treatment skids — anywhere a rugged, stainless-steel operator panel is needed for machine control and visualization.
The HMIGTO6315FW is an active production model within Schneider Electric's Harmony GTO range. It carries UL 508 and IEC 61000-6-2 compliance, and the stainless steel 304 enclosure is specified for NEMA 4X indoor use. No end-of-life notification is indicated; standard lead times apply for new orders.
