Overview
The HMIGTO1300FW is a Schneider Electric Harmony GTO touchscreen HMI, order code HMIGTO1300FW, with a 3.5" QVGA color display at 320x240 pixels, 64 MB Flash EPROM memory, and a resistive touch panel rated for 1,000,000 cycles. It operates on a 24 V DC external supply, draws 5.2 W, and is rated IP20 with a NEMA 4X front panel for indoor flush-mount applications.
This HMI runs Vijeo Designer configuration software version 6.1 or later, providing a graphical interface for machine control, data display, and alarm management. The 64 MB Flash EPROM stores the application and screen data, while the 128 kB internal SRAM with lithium battery backup retains recipe and variable data for up to 100 days without power. Communication is handled through the onboard serial port, supporting Schneider Electric Modbus, Uni-TE, Modbus Plus, FIPWAY, plus third-party protocols for Mitsubishi Melsec, Omron Sysmac, Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley, and Siemens Simatic networks. The resistive touch panel is rated for 1,000,000 actuations, and the backlight has a lifespan of 50,000 hours at 25 °C. Six function keys (F1–F6) are programmable via Vijeo Designer for navigation or direct control. Brightness is adjustable through 16 levels via the touch panel or software. The unit is cooled by natural convection and has no fan.
Applications
Harmony GTO touchscreen HMIs are used in industrial automation for operator interface on packaging lines, material handling equipment, machine tools, and process skids. The 3.5" form factor suits compact panels where space is limited but a color touchscreen with multi-protocol connectivity is required.
The HMIGTO1300FW is a compact entry-level touchscreen HMI in the Harmony GTO family. It is positioned below larger models such as the HMIGTO5310FW.
