Overview
The HMIPEPS952D1801 is a Schneider Electric Harmony iPC Performance panel PC with an 18.5" LED colour TFT LCD display, multi-touch projected capacitive technology, and a native resolution of 4096 x 4096.
This panel PC serves as a central operator interface and edge controller for machine-level HMI and SCADA applications. The 18.5" display with 300 cd/m² luminance and 16:9 aspect ratio is readable in well-lit industrial environments, and the multi-touch PCT surface supports gesture-based interaction even with water on the screen. The Intel Core i3 4010U provides enough processing headroom for runtime HMI software such as EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert or Vijeo Citect, while the 8 GB DDR3 RAM and 128 GB SSD handle tag databases, recipe storage, and data logging. A watchdog timer configurable from 1 to 255 ms allows the application to recover from software hangs without a manual reset. The fanless passive cooling design eliminates moving parts, reducing maintenance and allowing operation in dusty or particle-laden cabinets.

The panel PC measures 487.68 mm wide by 309.88 mm high by 66.04 mm deep, fitting a standard panel cut-out for 18.5" displays. The IP65 rating on the front bezel allows washdown in food or beverage zones; the rear enclosure is not rated for wet environments. Cooling is entirely fanless passive, so no clearance for airflow is needed above the unit, but ambient temperature must stay within the storage range of -20 to 60 °C. A single internal SATA HDD/SSD slot and one mini PCI Express full-size slot are available for expansion. The unit is supplied with a 24 V DC input; verify polarity and wire gauge per the installation manual.
