Product details

Overview

It delivers 4 N.m of holding torque from a 24 V DC supply, with an integrated Ethernet Powerlink interface for real-time motion control. The unit is rated IP41, carries CE marking, and is designed for flange mounting without a gearbox or holding brake.

This integrated drive/motor operates as a 3-phase stepper motor with a 6-pole winding, controlled via the onboard Ethernet Powerlink network. The 4 N.m torque rating defines the maximum holding torque available at standstill; the speed range is 180 rpm at 24 V and 360 rpm at 48 V, making it suitable for moderate-speed positioning applications. Position feedback is provided by an index pulse, with a resolution of 20000 points per turn and an accuracy of +/- 6 arc minutes. The rotor inertia is 2.2 kg.cm², which influences acceleration and deceleration profiles in the application. The drive accepts a 24 V DC supply and outputs 23...25 V to the motor phases. Four configurable signal lines can each serve as input or output, providing flexibility for limit switches, home sensors, or auxiliary control. Communication is via RS485 Modbus RTU at 9.6, 19.2, or 38.4 kbaud, in addition to the Ethernet Powerlink interface. Protection includes overload of output voltage, safe torque off, and short circuit of the output voltage.

Applications

The Lexium integrated drive series is used in compact motion control applications where space is limited and a separate drive and motor would not fit. Typical uses include pick-and-place stations, labeling machines, small conveyors, and other assembly automation requiring moderate torque and speed with network-based positioning. The integrated design simplifies cabling and panel layout, reducing installation time.

The ILS2P852PC1A0 carries CE marking and complies with EN 61800-3:2001 for EMC in the second environment, as well as EN/IEC 60068-2-29 for shock resistance (150 m/s², 1000 shocks). No lifecycle status (active, NRND, or obsolete) is specified in the available evidence. For current production status and lead time, submit an RFQ to confirm availability.
