Instantaneous shunt trip for TeSys Integral
The Schneider Electric LA1LC071M is a TeSys-series shunt trip designed for remote tripping of TeSys Integral motor starters. It releases the contactor instantaneously when voltage is applied to the control coil, with an operating time of >= 10 ms. Rated for 220-230 VAC at 50 Hz and 220-240 VAC at 60 Hz, the trip coil draws 8 VA inrush and 4 VA hold-in power. The threshold tripping voltage is 0.35 to 0.7 Uc, meaning the coil will reliably release the mechanism once the control voltage reaches about 77-161 VAC on a 230 V nominal rail.
Obsolete — sourcing through independent channels
Schneider Electric lists the LA1LC071M as obsolete. No official successor or pin-compatible replacement is recorded from the manufacturer. This part is available through independent surplus and broker channels. Quantities are lot-specific; availability and pricing are confirmed at RFQ. Genuine Schneider parts, same part number, different supply route — no warranty from the factory, but the part is the same as what shipped from the authorized channel.
Panel fit and connection details
Screw-clamp terminals for control wiring. The shunt trip mounts directly onto the TeSys Integral contactor base — no additional DIN rail space consumed beyond the contactor footprint. Supplied as a set of 10 units. Control circuit voltage limits are 0.7 to 1.1 Uc, so the coil operates reliably between 154 VAC and 253 VAC on a 230 V nominal supply. Below 0.35 Uc the trip may not release; above 1.1 Uc risks coil damage.
