Mechanical Interlock for TeSys Deca Contactors
The LA9D09978 is a mechanical interlock for TeSys Deca contactors in the 9-25 A range, part of Schneider Electric's motor control accessories line. It physically prevents two contactors from closing simultaneously, a requirement for reversing or star-delta motor starters where a cross-conduction short would occur if both main contacts engaged at once.
Integration with TeSys Deca Contactors
Mounts directly onto the contactor body without additional DIN-rail space. The interlock linkage couples the two contactor armatures so that the mechanical force of one closing blocks the other's motion. No wiring required — purely mechanical, so it adds zero cycle time to the PLC scan.
