Overview
The LA9GTS331 is a Schneider TeSys Giga star-delta connection bar, 3-pole, designed for use with LC1G630-800 contactors on the line and delta legs and LC1G265-500 contactors on the star leg, and includes a cable memory kit. This accessory simplifies the buswork in a star-delta starter assembly, reducing wiring time and ensuring correct phase sequencing between the three contactors.
In a star-delta motor starter, the LA9GTS331 bar connects the line and delta contactor outputs to the star contactor input, routing the motor leads through the correct switching sequence without additional jumper wires. The integrated cable memory kit holds the power cables in position during maintenance, preventing misrouting when contactors are swapped.
Applications
Used in TeSys Giga contactor-based star-delta starters for large induction motors in pumping, conveying, and HVAC applications where reduced inrush current during start-up is required.
