It uses an RC circuit (resistor-capacitor snubber) rated for a control circuit voltage of 110...240 V AC 50/60 Hz, with a maximum peak voltage of 3 Uc at up to 400 Hz. This means it absorbs the inductive kick when the coil de-energizes, protecting nearby electronics and extending contact life.
The module clips onto the front of an Easy TeSys contactor or reversing starter, occupying 44 mm width and 33 mm depth. No tools needed for installation — it snaps into a dedicated slot. The IP20 finger-safe housing (conforming to IEC 60529) allows panel integration without additional shrouding in a standard enclosure. Protective treatment per TH (IEC 60068) means it handles humid or mildly corrosive atmospheres typical in HVAC or pump panels.
