The LC1D40P7 shares the same 40 A rated current as the LC1D40F7 but differs in coil voltage: the LC1D40P7 uses a 230 VAC coil, while the LC1D40F7 uses a 110 VAC coil. For a panel wired for 230 VAC control, the LC1D40P7 is the correct drop-in; the LC1D40F7 requires a different control transformer or coil supply.
