The LC1F400F7 is a Schneider TeSys F direct-on-line contactor rated for 500 A switching current across AC-1, AC-3, and AC-4 utilization categories, with a 110 V AC 40-400 Hz control coil. Built for motor control and resistive loads, it carries marine certifications including BV, DNV, Lloyds, ABS, and RINA, plus UL and CSA, and is sealed to IP20 with a plate-mount footprint.

The 500 A switching current places it in the heavy TeSys F frame, suited for large motors or high-current resistive banks. The 40 ms operating time and 10 Mcycles mechanical life support high-duty cycling. Upstream protection is coordinated at 400 A aM or 500 A gG fuses at ≤ 440 V. The 14 W heat dissipation and 0.26 mOhm average impedance at 500 A should be factored into panel thermal calculations.
