The Schneider Electric LC1G150XXEN is a 3-pole contactor from the TeSys Giga series, rated for power switching and motor control across AC-1, AC-3, AC-3e, AC-4, and DC utilisation categories. It switches a 75 kW motor at 400 V AC (AC-3e) and handles up to 90 kW at 440 V under the same duty. The contactor is certified to EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, so it fits panels destined for North American or European lines without requalification.
The associated fuse recommendation is 160 A aM or 315 A gG, which sets the upstream protection coordination. Mechanical durability is 8 Mcycles, which for a 600 cyc/h AC-3 duty cycle translates to roughly 1.5 years of continuous 24/7 operation before mechanical end-of-life — useful for estimating maintenance intervals on a conveyor line or pump station.
Mounts on a plate (not DIN rail — the 35 mm connection pitch is the pole spacing, not a rail profile). Power terminals accept bolted connections, busbars up to 25 x 6 mm, or ring lugs for 185 mm² cable. IP2X on the front face with shrouds (per IEC 60529 and VDE 0106) means finger-safe when installed in a closed panel — no additional touch protection needed on the line side as long as the shrouds are fitted. The dark grey colour is the standard TeSys Giga housing.
