The LC1G400LSEN is a 3-pole contactor from the TeSys Giga range, rated for motor switching in AC-3e duty at 200 kW on a 400 V AC supply. That AC-3e rating covers squirrel-cage motors with inrush up to 8× full-load current — the standard for most pump, fan, and conveyor drives. The same pole set also carries AC-4 ratings for reversing or plugging duty at 200 kW on 400 V, so it handles the harder switching cycle of frequent starts and stops without derating the main poles. Coil is 200...500 V AC/DC with built-in bidirectional peak limiting, meaning it suppresses the inductive kick on dropout. That saves you fitting a separate R-C snubber or varistor across the coil — one less component to spec and wire. Closing time runs 40...70 ms, opening 15...50 ms. Auxiliary contacts are 1 NO + 1 NC built in, enough for a seal-in and a status feedback to the PLC. If you need more aux poles, the TeSys Giga range accepts add-on blocks that clip onto the front without tools.
Mounts on a plate — not a DIN rail — so plan for a drilled backplate in the panel. Power terminals accept bar up to 32 x 10 mm or ring lugs for 185 mm² cable; control wiring uses push-in terminals for 0.2...2.5 mm² solid or stranded with ferrules. Tightening torque for the power connections is 35 N.m. Front face with shrouds achieves IP2X per IEC 60529 and VDE 0106 — finger-safe but not sealed. Not for washdown environments; keep it inside a locked enclosure.
Designed and certified to EN/IEC 60947-4-1 (contactors and motor-starters), EN/IEC 60947-5-1 (control-circuit devices), UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, and JIS C8201-4-1. Also listed to IEC 60335-1 Clause 30.2 and IEC 60335-2-40 Annex JJ for appliance applications. Overvoltage category III, protective treatment TH (tropicalized).
