It switches a 3-phase motor up to 6 A at ≤440 V AC (AC-3), with a 100 V AC coil. The 1 NC auxiliary contact provides a feedback path for the reversing interlock or status monitoring.
Rated operational voltage on the power circuit is 690 V AC 50/60 Hz, so it can handle 400 V and 480 V line supplies without derating up to 2000 m altitude. The AC-3 rating (6 A at ≤440 V) governs motor switching — that is the current it can make and break across a standard induction motor load. AC-4 covers plugging and inching duty, where the contactor sees higher electrical wear. The IP20 finger-safe enclosure (VDE 0106) suits panel-mount installations where the contactor is behind a cabinet door.
Mechanical and environmental tolerance
Rated for shock and vibration per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6: the contactor holds closed through 10 Gn on Y and Z axes, 6 Gn on X axis (11 ms half-sine). Vibration resistance is 4 Gn closed, 2 Gn open across 5–300 Hz. Storage temperature spans -50 to 80 °C; operating ambient is -25 to 50 °C. The protective treatment conforms to IEC 60068 and DIN 50016 for damp heat and corrosive atmospheres.
Depth 57 mm, width 90 mm, height 58 mm. The 1 NC auxiliary is wired into the reversing interlock logic.
