The Schneider Electric TeSys K LC2K06103U7 is a 3-pole reversing contactor rated for motor control in AC-3 and AC-4 utilisation categories. The contactor ships preassembled with the reversing power busbar, so the mechanical interlock and main power wiring between the two contactor halves is already in place, saving panel build time.
The coil is 230-240 VAC, so it drops straight into a 240 V control transformer secondary without an extra buck-boost. Rated operational voltage on the power circuit is 690 V AC 50/60 Hz, giving headroom for 480 V or 600 V line applications, though the motor current rating must be derated above 440 V per the manufacturer's curve.
For higher ambient or altitude above 2000 m, derate the continuous current accordingly.
The contactor carries V1 flame retardance per UL 94 and meets NF F 16-101 / NF F 16-102 for railway fire-smoke-toxicity requirements. Protective treatment conforms to IEC 60068 and DIN 50016 for corrosion resistance. Mechanical robustness is specified for shock and vibration per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6, with the contactor withstanding 10-15 Gn shocks in the closed position and 4 Gn vibration at 5-300 Hz.
