It is designed for controlling the direction of single-phase or three-phase motors up to the rated breaking capacity, typically in conveyor, pump, or fan reversing applications where a single contactor package simplifies panel wiring. The control circuit operates on 200-208 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with a pickup range of 0.85 to 1.1 Uc and a dropout range of 0.2 to 0.75 Uc. Coil inrush is 30 VA at 20 °C, and heat dissipation is 1.3 W. The mechanical interlock prevents both contactors from closing simultaneously, which is essential for reversing duty.
Screw clamp terminals accept one or two conductors: solid 1.5-4 mm², flexible without ferrule 0.75-4 mm², or flexible with ferrule 0.34-2.5 mm². Tightening torque is 1.3 Nm using a No 2 Philips or 6 mm flat screwdriver. The preassembled reversing busbar saves panel space and reduces wiring errors compared to building the reversing circuit from two separate contactors and an interlock module. The part is protected against thermal shock and humidity per IEC 60068 and DIN 50016 (TC treatment).
