It is rated for AC-3 duty (motor switching) up to 16 A at 440 V AC, which covers small three-phase induction motors typical on conveyors, pumps, and fans.
For resistive loads (AC-1), the thermal current is higher, but for motor control the AC-3 number is the one to match against your motor FLA. The 3 NO power poles handle the motor lines; the 1 NC auxiliary is wired into the reversing interlock circuit to prevent both contactors from closing simultaneously. Altitude derating kicks in above 2000 m; below that, no reduction in ratings is needed. Mechanical robustness is specified for shock and vibration per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6: the contactor withstands 10 Gn shocks on Y and Z axes (closed) and 4 Gn vibration at 5–300 Hz (closed). That makes it suitable for installation on machinery with moderate vibration, not just stationary panels.
