The 42 V AC coil keeps control circuit voltages low, common in panel designs where a separate control transformer steps down from line voltage.
The 690 V AC rated operational voltage on the power circuit means the contactor can isolate higher-voltage lines, but the switching capacity at that voltage is derated from the 440 V figure. The 90 x 58 x 57 mm footprint fits standard DIN-rail or panel-mount layouts typical of TeSys K assemblies.
Mechanical and environmental tolerance
Rated for shock and vibration per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6: the contactor holds closed under 10 Gn on Y and Z axes, and 4 Gn vibration closed across 5–300 Hz. That makes it suitable for equipment mounted on machinery or in transport applications where mechanical stress is a factor. Flame retardance meets V1 per UL 94 and NF F 16-101/102, relevant for rail and other fire-safety-regulated environments. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating — above that, dielectric strength and thermal dissipation need to be reviewed per the manufacturer's application notes.
