Rated 16 A in AC-3 (motor switching) at <=440 V, so it handles a typical 7.5 kW induction motor on a 400 V line. The 440 V AC coil means the control circuit must supply 440 V AC; a 24 V DC or 230 V AC coil version would be a different order code. IP20 finger-safe terminals (per VDE 0106) mean the contactor is intended for installation inside a closed panel, not exposed to washdown or dust.
Installation and compliance notes
The preassembled reversing busbar saves wiring time but locks the pole configuration — no field reconfiguration to 2 NO / 1 NC. Flame retardance meets UL 94 V1 and NF F 16-101/102, so it passes rail and industrial panel fire-safety requirements.
